Claire Mazzini, Corporate Counsel, Microsoft Canada

Claire Mazzini is a Corporate Counsel at Microsoft Canada, where she advises on complex technology transactions and cloud computing matters. She has gained extensive experience in corporate and commercial matters in both law firms and global technology companies. Her perspective on navigating technology is further informed by her experience as a product manager and her studies in change management. Her passion for innovation has driven her active involvement in Montreal's legal and tech communities over the years, and she continues to contribute to the evolving discourse on technology law through various endeavours. 

Taslenna Shairulla, Chief Privacy Officer and Senior Counsel, Capital One Canada

Taslenna Shairulla is the Chief Privacy Officer and Senior Counsel at Capital One Canada. She is an experienced technology lawyer, advising on a broad range of technology, outsourcing and privacy matters. As part of both legal and her role as Chief Privacy Officer, Taslenna maintains in-depth knowledge of privacy laws, in addition to regulatory compliance, data protection, and data breach requirements. She holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional Canada (CIPP/C) certification, is currently a member of the Privacy and Data Committee of the Canadian Marketing Association and the Women in Technology Committee of the Canadian Technology Law Association. She is also passionate about social justice and inclusion, and volunteers at the Law Society Foundation's 'Feed the Hungry' program. Prior to her role at Capital One Canada, Taslenna held roles at Deloitte and BMO Capital Markets.
